Mum came up with a funny aging theory: As we get older, we have wrinkles and weak eyesight. These two phenomenon come together because when we have weak eyesight we cant see our wrinkles and so we still see our pretty self in the mirror. lol

+++++++++++++++++++++++

Grandma fell down in the kitchen yesterday when preparing lunch for the second day of Chinese New Year. Her knees had been very weak lately and she complained knee pain every step she took. She's 80 this year. Aging is expected. Yesterday the floor was wet and her knees had no energy to prevent herself from falling (my grandma was very strong last time. She even climbed the roof to fix TV antenna few years ago).

The thing I like about my grandma is that even after she fell down, she still can laugh about it when everyone around her was so worried. She's very optimistic. =) Whenever I think of the witty smile on her face when she told me quietly that she fell down in the kitchen just now, I could not help but think how can she be so calm after the incident that shows her that she might no longer walk in the future? And after telling me about the fall, she put her index finger to her mouth asking me to keep this a secret, mouthing Shhh to me. (secret no more that it's revealed here =P Nah.. She din know my mum already tell my aunts about it ) She's so cute and child-like. =P

Trying to be nice to everyone, grandma is a saint. Although many times grandma gave too much financial support to my gambler uncle and she sometimes act like a kid, grandma worth my respect =) She's just trying to be a good mum, but in a wrong way. She's not educated, it's understandable.

She attracted me in some way. She can make people laugh when she says something too naive or when she's blur. hehe.. And she will laugh with us when she realized she created a joke. One example is when she told dad happily that she climbed the roof to fix the antenna and got scolded by dad, she was happily laughing at her brave act. Like a kid.

In general, she's a witty, naive and humorous grandma.

Love her =)
