What I have done after my honour’s year exam?
Before the early exam, I slept for 5 hours. It might be sufficient for some people, but definitely not for me. My eyes were very sore but because of the exam I had to force my eyes open. I had no problem in opening my eyes when I see the questions. It was a real shock to me. Fabulous questions. But, very tricky. It’s all about how to apply the knowledge on a case study. I know Prof Song’s style of giving questions. But, after all the hustle, I forgot about my prediction. So, I really dun know how to answer the questions. So, simply answer only la. Hope I don't screw it up.
After the exam, my eyes had gone back to sleepy mode. Feel like going back to take a nap. But, I planned to go Monash new campus to unpack my lab glasswares. I actually planned to walk to the new campus one. But, Yun Ying helped me ask around whether there were people going to new campus by car. So, she got Boon Min for me. And, she tagged along too. Thanks Yun Ying. Boon Min, thanks for the ride so that I don’t need to melt under the sun. Hehe…
I took several pictures of the new lab in the new campus. The corridor is very long. Looks like those seen in hospitals in spooky movies.

And, the scary thing is that every lab looks the same. I mean the arrangements of the equipments (fume hood and laminar flow, bench and cupboards).

After returning all the glassware to Mr Chuah (about 2 big boxes but I din take the pic), I went into Prof Song’s lab to look for YY. But, ended up chit chat and take pic with Boon Min.

BM removing agar plates from anaerobic jar in fume hood because the bacteria was very smelly
After that I thought I was in Mr Chuah’s lab. So, I waited there for YY. Dun laugh, it’s all the lab’s fault. They look just the same!!!
After found out that I was in the wrong lab, I went to Mr Chuah’s lab. There, I chatted with Mr Chuah, YY and Yik Ling about job hunting for 3 hours!! I think it’s either Mr Chuah was too lonely there or we were too happy that the exam’s over. Haha…
These are some other pictures that were taken in new campus.

For non-science student, this is a machine that can photocopy DNA, haha..MK, dun tease me with non-scientific words. I know it should be DNA replication la. But I like the description, photocopy..hehe...=P

Wai Khay (YK??) doing lab work
Then, came back hostel, watch Korean game shows and laugh like I’ve gone crazy. It was funny la. Somemore my roommate went back to hometown. So, I was alone in the room. I can laugh louder. Hehe…
Then, I went to yamcha with Adam, Keen, Yumin and her friend. Adam said he become darker than me after the expedition. I always tease him he looked like Lee Jun Ki (李准基) the Korean actor in the movie “King and The Clown” (王的男人). So, I was very curious how Lee Jun Ki looks like after becoming darker. =P Dun angry ah Adam. Hehe. But, after seeing him, he’s not very dark la… Same like me only ma. I not very dark also. Muahahaha…. Remember Leo Ku last time in 神雕侠侣very fair looks like drug addict. After tanning, he looks healthier. Tan is nicer for guy. Not for girls. [sob sob]
So, last night although Yumin and her friend wanted to sleep early for today’s Jogathon, we cant stop talking. This yamcha session took us 4 hours!! My goodness. I’m sure it’s definitely not me. Muahaha… (Whisper: It’s adam)..hehehe.. Sorry YM and JY. I hope you girls don't sleep during the jog.
Yea…His expedition experience was too interesting that we cant stop but listen. Especially the part where he cut his own hand with parang and the numb expression when he told his leader that his hand was cut. I can imagine how funny it was. And the 40 minutes boat trip to clinic for a stitch for the hand cut? That sounds really scary to me. And the ghostly walking speed of the local jungle trekker at night while looking for water. I still doubt whether Adam was conscious enough to confirm that was really a human. Ngek ngek… A lot nonsense and funny stuff la.
And we discussed about the tampons. Haha… Yea, I got a general knowledge question for you GIRLS who are reading this post. Guys, if you are interested with tampons, then carry on, else please skip these paragraphs with green words. This question is very engineering to me though. If a girl is wearing a tampon and go for scuba diving, will the deep water pressure push the tampon in? I was thinking, the porosity of the tampon might compensate with the pressure but is the tampon porous enough to stand the pressure?
Don’t think somewhere else la…This is a very technical question. We were thinking what we can do to prevent this. And Adam’s cracked us with a crazy answer. Attach the tampon to a string and sew the string to the diving suit. Haha.. Laugh until I almost roll on the floor man. So, have you got the answer? I found Googled for the answer and found a site which confirms that tampons can be used during diving.
"Are Tampons safe to use while diving? There is no evidence that tampons or any other intravaginal objects are in any way dangerous from the effects of increased pressure. Not being a closed space, it does not suffer the effects of Boyle's Law." (Cited from Kristy Allison http://www.scubaboard.com/archive/index.php/t-73251.html)
Seriously, I think this tampon subject will help those people who like to dive. But, girls, for your own safety, better confirm with either pharmacist or the tampon manufacturer first before using it (Because I don't really believe non-journal articles)
Ok. Forget about tampons. After yamcha, we took pictures outside 1st station café at the roadside.

(Adam look like hamsap lou...and me and keen looks like retard...hahahahaha)
Keen was hugging the lamp post when getting ready to take the second pic. So, it ended up all of us posing 钢管 pose, including Keen. Muahaha. But the lamp post was too far from me, so I can’t pose. But, pictures still not with me yet. Will attach here after I get it.
Finally I had a proper relaxing day. Not to forget there's another coming end of this month though. It's the 15% left, viva. 30 minutes Q&A and that's all for my honours year. Better read up my thesis these two weeks.
