Blissful weekend =)

Last weekend had been blissful. =)

Went for monthly meet but turned out Kuna's mum was admitted to hospital. So the first aid class was canceled. We then went to have dimsum at Jalan Ipoh while having a short meeting about updates of Raleigh. Wasn't really awake by then (summore me need time to warm up to break the ice to the outer world one.. lol), so most of the time I was dreaming during the meeting. Muahaha..

Then some of us went to kayak after the meeting at Taman Titiwangsa.

(Tanning themselves under the noon sun)

And I went to fly kite beside the lake they kayak with Pipo and June.

Then after kayaking, they had their kayak team photos.

And then we take group photos of the kayak and the kite. =)

(I like the way I look here. Muahaha.. looks like Ko Mi Nam in the Korean drama, I mean the hair looks like her. =P)

Kayaking is a very tiring game. I'd have to dry yourself under the sun and after kayaking you have to pour the water out of the kayak and carry them back to the storeroom. They are damn heavy wei!

Have to rest the hand from time to time to carry them back to the storeroom which is about 200m from the lake.

And then I had fun joining the nonsense talk in Zed's car. =)

-

Then Sunday I went to sing K with Kexin, Adam and Jia Yaw. Kexin came back from holiday from Japan. Miss her so much! But not as much as Adam la. Adam missed her so much that he asked me twice to arrange a meet up with Kexin. lol. So there we were, in Redbox singing Bad Romance by Lady Gaga and only remembered the "Rawr Rawr Oh la la" part. lol. We had lots of laughter thanks to joker Adam.

But Redbox was really tricky. They only let us sang for 2 hours which dampened our moods a lot! So we continued chatting about everything at Full House. Again we were dampened by the very yucky drinks. They said my mango milk shake tasted the worst which resembles the smell of toilet fragrance. The last time I went Full House I had bad experience with the food also. So, if you all wanna have good food DO NOT go Full House!! But the good about Full House is that the interior is so beautiful and we can take picture with the glasses displayed there. (Will put up the pictures as soon as Kexin upload it in FB, if she does).

After Jia Yaw left, 3 of us went to take picture with the crazy bar-like glasses, some shades, some ties and Adam with a bra-tube in front of his chest. Muahaha. Adam was very attractive that day. Two waitresses blushed when they saw him. One when ordering the food and one when taking photos of him wearing the bra-tube. Then 3 of us squeezed into the changing room and had loads of crazy photos like Adam showing his muscle, us acting like models. lol... All those tiny little crazy things made us burst us into laughter. =) We had fun in there. (Awww.. I really wish I can see how the photos look like. hehe..)

I love those crazy moments.

Then afterwards I went Zhuang's house to give tuition. After tuition and dinner, we chatted and took funny photos, again. But this time was by my part time photographer cousin. And there I got my Bruise Lee look photographed and photoshoped by him. Thanks so much JC! I love this photo so much!

I'm a very lousy actress lo. Kept rolling on the ground laughing when Zhuang and Mei started laughing at my facial expression. This is like the 3rd or 4th take. =P

I was supposed to imitate Bruce Lee when he says "ATTA!!"

After that Zhuang reminded me that my T-shirt says "Explain to me AGAIN why I need a boyfriend". Plus that expression on my face, it looks like I'm extremely fed up with people asking me "Do you have a bf yet? Why still not yet have bf? Get one la..." (especially during CNY....). So the photo says "ATTA!!~~ Ask me again and you'll be ATTA-ed!" lol... Kidding.

Me like this weekend!

I attach one song here la. Say Hey (I Love You) by Michael Franti. Very relaxing song! =) I like this genre. Go check out the MV in Youtube, it's very simple and cute. =)

Cameron + Ipoh trip

Just came back from Cameron trip with the girls.

We stopped by Ipoh and had the famous taugeh at Kong Heng Coffee shop. The shop was so fullt seated that we had to stand beside the table to watch (and give pressure to) the customers so that they could leave their table and let us sit down.

Popiah. Nice but got har mai which I dun eat. hehe..

Taugeh. Nice!

Satay. So so la.

Hard boiled egg in tea

Beef noodle. Delicious! Even better than the one in my hometown. I like the radish!!

Then at Cameron we visited the strawberry sanctuary opposite Equatorial Hotel. Have to climb a little tar road slope to get to the shop.

Maybe we overrated strawberries in Cameron. It's actually not really sweet. It was very sour!

We also went to the pasar near the Equatorial Hotel.

I bought a strawberry dip chocolate stick. The strawberry was soggy and the chocolate was artificial. Not nice.

Then we had steamboat dinner with organic vegetables. The tomyam soup was good. Maybe it's the weather.

Then we visited the pasar malam. Had very tasty strawberry ice stick. Bought yellow colour cherry tomatoes (which is surprisingly tasty just like those red ones) and a cactus for Alia (my colleague).

Spot me!

I'm still biting on the strawberry ice stick

We stayed at a very very nice holiday home, called Arabella Holiday Home. The outside looks like a very European style bangalow.

I love love love the compound area!!

I found this picture from Google. It's not the room we stayed. I guess this room is first floor one. But the room we stayed looks something like this la.. But the room we stayed has 2 queen size beds and space enough to put 5 more tilams. And the bedsheet, pillow, floor were very clean! The bedsheet and comforter smelled like home. Got very clean detergent smell. Hehe. The floor was shiny and clean. Thumbs up for this holiday home. Next time if I come Cameron I wanna stay here again.

Then the next day went Boh tea plantation and its factory. Took lots of pictures with the tea plants there. Had a sip at the Boh tea cafe.

Then visited the boring Big Red Strawberry Farm where we were not allowed to touch the plants. The strawberry ice stick was not as nice as the one sold in the pasar malam. And the vege sold there looks expensive to buy.

So we didn't manage to pluck strawberries in the farm but I'm satisfied having to touch the tea plants. =) And climbed a little to the top of the tea plantation which was like about 170m only. Keke. But it did killed my "hiking withdrawal symptom" a bit. lol... And the fog and cooling morning weather was refreshing. I love that trek.

Summore I met a Korean family at the top. Their kids walked very slow in front of us. So they keep asking their kids to walk faster down the hill. Then I told them "kwenchanayo" (means it's ok). Then the young couple was very surprised and looked at me. Then the guy asked me "are you Korean or Chinese?" in English. At that moment I was so excited. So I tried to answer in Korean but my mind was suddenly blank! So I wanted to reply him in English. But I suddenly dun even know how to reply him in English. I was like "Korean.. errr.. err... no.. not Korean" =.= I'm really useless. But luckily I managed to squeeze in the sentence hankukeoreul baewoyo. Seriously I need to practice more on my Korean speaking.

-

Erm by the way, I just sat for my Korean exam just now. I got 94% this time! It's way better than I thought. I thought I can only get 70+. Teacher was being generous coz got a few questions I answered wrongly because of misinterpret the meaning of the questions, but she didn't minus mark from there.

Since I told myself I'm gonna treat myself a good meal if I get 90% and above for the exam, I'm gonna look for nice food tomorrow after work. Muahahaha..

p/s: More photos to come =). Photo taken by Audrey (for the Cameron part) and me (for the Ipoh part).

Heard this song on Audrey's car during the trip. Very cute song very 林宇中 called 幸福马戏团. I like the chorus part! =)

Off for Penang

Tomorrow I'll be going to stay overnight at Cheng Yee's house so that Friday early morning we can depart to Kampar for breakfast, then Ipoh for lunch then finally Penang. =)

Actually nothing much to blog also. Hehe. But feel like putting up a new post coz I'll be away for few days until Monday. Hope this blog won't be too empty. =P

Anyhoos, first of all, happy birthday to my ex-roomie, Choo Peng, who had shared my joy my tears and lotz of our stressful lives back in uni time. Really miss you lo. You faster fly back Malaysia la =P Then we can go shopping... or just gossiping in Aud's room will be fun too. =P

For the Penang trip, my target is to eat the cendol at the small lorong somewhere at the town I guess. Then I want to eat char kuey teow and asam laksa. I don't like prawns. So prawn mee is not one of my target. According to my housemate's mum, "lo bak" is very famous in Penang. She told me go Penang must try their "lo bak".

After many direction and description of the places she went and how delicious was the lo bak, I asked her, "What's lo bak?" =.="

I haven't seen anything called lo bak before. It should look something like this:

(Not advertising for the coffee shop, this is the only nicely taken photo of lo bak I could find online)

Actually going to historical places should also be great but since I dun have a camera I can't take any photos of the places, so no point going there actually.

Watched this MV just now and found that Hebe is so adorable and pretty and sweet and cute and pretty. And did I just said adorable? lol. I sound like a lesbian.

Awww.. If only I can look like her. Ish.. What a big dream. lol.. Nevermind. I can start with that hairstyle first. lol.

Happy birthday girl =)

We kicked start our pre-celebration of Get Pei's birthday yesterday at Umai-ya Restaurant at PJ Uptown for the Japanese buffet lunch. Of so many things we ordered I prefer the sashimi. The salmon was really thick and fresh! Too bad Aud had to do lab and couldn't join us for the lunch.

The green tea ice cream was nice too! But forgot to take the picture of the ice cream. Hehe.

Salad

Get Pei's presents:

Aud joined us later on in Pyramid after the lunch. We went to Canton-i to accompany her for her lunch. I had pamelo mango pudding. It was delicious!

Aud's lunch - Char Siew rice. Looks yummy!

In Canton-i

Afterward we went to watch Transformers. Second time for Get Pei. Hehe. I love the show. It makes me feels like buying their movie-tie in books now.

After that we took pictures in the mall which made us looked like tourists. lol..

Oops... I hunched. So ugly.

Saw this line in the lady's restroom in Pyramid. I think it's cute.

We had our dinner at the Pancake House. We took a lot of photos there. hehe.. I love this part the most coz we had fun!

Act cute

The cake. The strawberries was delicious!

With the cake

A candid of me doing childish acts.

Supposed to act like couples but I couldn't help laughing. =P Get Pei's a good actor. Sorry I ruined it. lol...

Nice one! Hehe.

I had the pan chicken special set. The macaroni was nice! But the chicken was so so. I prefer KFC than this.

It was damn tired laughing and walking. But it was fun and happy being with my girls for the day. =) I enjoy the moments.
