Healthy day

Today is a healthy day! I finally got my butt out of my room! This is a big move (snicker).

Managed to wake up early at 7 something, had some milo and off to a one hour jog at the field nearby. I only jogged 5 rounds (and walked many rounds) but I feel so much better! Since I started to learn swimming, I found that if I stop exercising for more than 2 weeks I'll feel like having short breaths. I feel like my lungs have shrunk.

I actually planned to go Tian Hou Kong since weekdays. And I didn't plan to go with anyone. I just wanna go there and visit Ma Zhu and come back. But Keen called up asking for Microsoft Office CD. So, I brought him along with me. He brought camera. lol.

We had fun camwhoring. Especially at the rooftop. Hehe.. Coz no one was there, so we can set up timer and take as many pictures we can. =P We brought so liveliness to the temple. =D

The first thing you should do if you wanna act like a monkey like me. lol

The theme for this picture is "rich si lai". Did I meet the theme?

Serenity..

Act cool. lol

(Click to enlarge coz I have no idea why it came out so small)

This is taken by me. Nice? Got feel or not? Hehe...

Then met up bro at PJ to take some stuff from him. Had a quick lunch with him and his ex-boss. Had some quick chat with him. Although din have much to talk with him as usual, but seeing him in person made my day. I'm happy to see him and am still proud of him doing what he is good at and interested in. =)

When I'm back home, I felt very exhausted already. Had a good nap later. It was such a relaxing and healthy day! =)

But I feel muscle sore at my waist now. Guess I got it from jogging and jumping too much at the temple. Sei la. Tomorrow still have to go Gunung Dato' for a day hike tim. Haha. But it's ok. I need more endurance training for my KK trip. So, I cant complain. lol.

Twinkle little stars

It was a gloomy day. My mood was not really gloomy but it was Friday... Friday and Monday are the most dreadful day of the week. So this was the feeling I had when I was driving to work yesterday. But when I saw these flowers beside the road near Sunway college, they brightened up my mood! =)

Love these tiny little beings that twinkle in the grass bed like the stars in the sky.

Life is short

Recently I realized that we had grown old so much. Old as in we are starting to dissolve ourselves into the society without knowing. Realized the differences when we had totally different topics to talk about during a yamcha session.

You know you are slowly dissolving into the society and also getting older when the conversation during yamcha sessions cover these topics:

1. Who's getting married
2. Which ex-classmate gave birth to a baby
3. Reach target reach target!
4. Bonus bonus!
5. My job is #*&$#*$%^$*!!
6. Pay installments for car, houses and loans
7. Don't have time to meet up with friends due to work
8. Imagining pregnant and giving birth being a very painful process (among girls)

(Sorry but I dunno about guy's conversation. Hehe)

Oh! I really don't want to face all these coz I'm not ready to getting older yet. Sigh. Life is so cruel. Lately I realized that everyone around me is paying for car or house installments, or is getting married, I realized that I'm still behaving like a teenager. Or maybe I still don't have the ability to do so, either financial or romance wise?

Should I be happy that at least I can enjoy life during my 20s or should I start worrying that I'm so many steps behind them?

Sigh. Pushing us to become more matured and take up more responsibilities, life is cruel indeed.

But, on second thought, sometimes we need to do some young crazy stuff to prevent ourselves from getting older (and also to release ourselves from the stress we got every day), right?

Just like these old people playing wii at home.

Life is short, live it to the fullest!

So, let's sama-sama anti-ageing yo!

Audrey's turning 6.25

I kept all my hair bands. I dun need them now. lol.

I'll see how long I can keep this hairstyle. =)

---------------

We had lots of fun during Audrey's birthday celebration.

In Redbox. That's why the photo's very dark.

6.25 is Audrey's exact age. Hehehe..

All short hair except Shi Yun. Hehe. Get Pei's super high heels and super short skirts makes her legs looks nice! Audrey first time wear dress for the girl's gathering!! And see my new scarf! I know looks a bit "lala". But without it I will look too plain, right? But, too colourful hor? Hehe.

---------------

I'm gonna recommend nice English songs today instead of Chinese songs.

Love song by Taylor Swift

Although the song keep repeating but the song melody is nice!

Thinking of you by Katy Perry

Actually I only like the first part of the song, the part where she sings "Comparisons are easily turned, once you've had a taste of perfection"

One more song I want to recommend. It's 一事無成 by 周柏豪 and 鄭融

Love this song! But it's very hard to sing coz too fast already, my canto is not good enough to follow the lyrics. Hehe.

So ngam

Yesterday other than the test I went to (Don't ask me about the test, it reminds me of how bad my speaking is), I went to Asia Cafe with New for dinner.

Then I saw a lady sitting opposite me waved at me. I waved back trying to recall who this lady is. Though she does look familiar to me, I don't remember who she is at all. So I turned back coz maybe she was waving at someone behind me? But nobody was behind me! Hmmm! I was actually really confused. So I kept looking at her secretly hoping that some bits of memory can jump out of my head. Is she a friend from Raleigh? Or my blog reader? But, in the end I gave up.

After a while, she had finished her dinner and walked towards me. I thought she would just walk pass me. She did. But when she walked pass me, she waved at me to say goodbye. I could only managed to watch her in doubt and confusion. I still dunno who she is. Forgive me for not able to recognise you if you are reading.

After that Audrey joined us and we went to Snowflake just opposite Asia Cafe.

It's a new Taiwanese dessert cafe with simple and comfortable interior design. It has white square tables, white tiles and beige stools and most important of all is it's air-conditioned! And the most interesting thing is that after we order for the dessert, they gave us a round plastic pan which vibrates and lights up when our dessert is ready to be collected at the counter!

It's special is Taufufa. The special thing about this taufufa is that you can choose the toppings for it! I didn't try taufufa coz I didn't feel like eating taufufa that night.

I met Zhuang and Jin Linn there too! It was a big surprised. They went there for the dessert also. And Zhuang managed to meet Audrey the girl in legend. lol. (Coz I always tell Zhuang about Audrey but she never meet her before) Zhuang ordered the taufufa and she told us it's nice.

Before we left, we took a picture in the cafe.

Jungle Book boy revealed!

Mum recommended me this video. Very funny. Do watch especially when you're moody.

------------

Oklah. As promised, I uploaded 2 photos of my short hair although the face looked really pale for the first one.

One eye big one eye small. Haha. So obvious!

With my new shade.

Oh I love how the hair brushes my shoulder! =)

Updates on my short hair pics, in my workplace!

At my lab bench

Side view. Forgive me for my fake smile. Hee...

I'm Jungle Book boy! lol..

Love these two songs lately right after I heard them first time on radio:

我的回忆不是我的(海鸣威FEAT泳儿)

歡天喜地 (農夫)

-------

I changed hairstyle today!

Guess what? It's shoulder length bob hair! I know I know bob is already out of fashion. But I just want to enjoy having short hair for a while =) Coz it's light! And I dun need to wait for it to dry for hours before I sleep! =D

Actually I want to try pixie hair. But the hairstylist said the shape of my face does not suit pixie hair. =( Sigh. Never mind then.

Not yet take nice photo of my new hair. But you can imagine the boy in Jungle book. My hair and skin tone plus the face shape are exactly like him. Haha!

I really DO look something like this now. Even the body shape. =P

Tomorrow I'll take some and upload. =)

------------------

Recently really stressed at work. But someone is even more stressed than me. lol... See this stressful man in the video:

Haha. Very funny video this is. I was laughing my ass off when I watched this last time. How creative he is to think of photocopying the PC screen! Brilliant! But if this is real, then I think the poor guy sure got sacked already...

Oh MY GAWD! Jason Mraz is coming to KL!

Last month I've already known that Jason Mraz is coming to Malaysia in some time in March.

But, at that time I was thinking "Jason is from US. The concert ticket sure very expensive one. Sure more than RM100 one. Dun need to go la... Summore, I dun have anyone to go with. So, no need to go la.. "

Then when I heard the advertisement again on My FM about giving away tickets. I was like "Argh! I want the free tix! I dun mind going alone!"

Plus, his guitar skills is cool! Way beyond cool! The way he pluck and strum. Sometimes very lively and sometimes emotional. Awww. I wanna go see him play guitar!

Dun believe me? See it yourself on this video.

And then I waited till this week to listen to the radio again for the ad (I dun have radio at home. Hehe) the ad is no longer aired! Hmpph! How unfair...

Dunno still got tickets left or not? =( Who has extra tickets?

-------------------

Heard that this year's Earth Hour will be on 28th March 8.30pm for one hour.

Last year I did participated in Earth Hour 2008. And I'm definitely planning to participate this year too.

Even shopping malls turned off their lights?!! Wow.. I doubt Malaysia shopping mall would do that. lol.

Let's enjoy the tiny contribution to saving the earth during this hour! =)

What I do during Valentine's day

People go dating during Valentine's day. Some Raleighians go fundraise for charity selling flowers during the day (which I really wanted to go but didn't coz I'm sick). Guess what I do during Valentine's day?

I'm doing rehab for my flu. Consulted a doctor. Had plenty of sleeps and medicine.

I dun like to see doctor whenever I'm sick. Reasons why I dun see doctor normally:

1. Normally I'll see a doctor when I feel I have fever (I dun have thermometer, so I can only assume). But when the doctor measure my body temperature it is always normal! And in the end the doctors only give me some supplements or pain killer which I can buy myself in any pharmacy.

2. When I'm sick I dun feel like going out. Duh... Who fancy going out with dizzy head or freezing limbs?

3. It's expensive! Consulting a doctor plus the medication he sold make up to around RM35-RM50 in KL. In contrast, 10 tablets of Panadol only costs me RM2.00.

4. Some doctors even conclude that I'm not having flu or fever, it's just because I didn't have enough sleep lately and didn't drink enough water. That was when I was in uni. I remember the doctor sold me plenty of vitamins and charged me damn expensive!

5. Some doctors are pure empty-headed. They emphasise that all the medications he gave should be finished by the patients. I mean if that medication is just painkillers should I finish them even when I dun feel pain anymore?

Actually I'm quite amazed with the doctor I just consulted. He is pretty reasonable. He told me I dun need to finish the course of medication because they are just painkillers and lozenges. And he reasoned with me that different people will have different immune system. Some will slowly recover from the flu while some will start to develop cough, fever or even high fever. And he said when you started to develop high fever then only consultation is necessary. So I think he means I actually dun need to consult a doctor when I'm not that serious yet. That fits my style then. =P Hehe..

So, I bought a thermometer from pharmacy! It's only RM6.50, not as expensive as I expected. So next time whenever I 'feel' I have fever, I can check first before I waste my money buying painkillers from doctors. =)

Archew!~~ Valentine's phobia..

Archew! Arrrrchhew! I think I have flu again.

As usual, starting to feel the neck, eyes and upper respiratory tract pain, and some dizziness.

Sigh.. I'm always the first to catch flu as long as there is someone who is going to have flu, or having the flu or just recovered from the flu. And then I tend to spread it really wide to everyone around me. Damn efficient one. Last time there's a flu outbreak in my workplace. One of my colleagues passed it to me. And then I was the second one who caught flu and then everyone started having flu, summore even more serious than me.

-----------------

So kelian.. Valentine's day is reaching. I will feel so lonely. Can I skip this day? Or maybe I should sleep pass this day? Hehehe..

Aku bukan untukmu...

Mum told me she noticed I didn't smile that much compared with last time. I think she's right. I felt the change.

Last time, I can smile to myself even when there's nothing to be happy about. Now, I frown a lot. Sometimes I frown because I'm thinking, sometimes I pretend that I'm thinking. Last time, I sang to myself wherever I am and whether or not I'm alone. (I love to sing to myself since I was in secondary school). Now, I seldom do that anymore.

I dunno whether it is because of the sad incident last year or because I really had changed to be less funny (mum said I became more matured).

Bleh. Dun care! As long as I still do stupid and funny stuff sometimes. I think I'm still me.

5 of us with the yet-to-be-disturbed lou sang

Overheard this Malay song from one of my lab tech's handphone some time before CNY. The melody sounds very sad but beautiful. And the girl has nice voice!

HuHu....

I've been suffering from upper back muscle pain since last year June. At first, the pain was on and off. Mainly starts when I wake up from sleep. And then the pain persist till the mid of the day. Recently, it gets worse. Sometimes, the pain starts from beginning of the day and persist the whole day. I can't stand it anymore. Tomorrow, I'll go for a massage. Hope it helps. I hope I can go for yoga class too... (coz I know I'll be too lazy to do at home myself. Hehe)

---------------

Every time when I look into the mirror at late night, my face will look very pale. And fairer. Every time this pale face will shock myself coz it looks really scary. Maybe I'm more used to having dark skin tone.

Went out for a movie with Chee Hui today. We watched InkHeart. When I looked at the ticket I thought the cinema printed out my name. Coz InkHeart looks like YinkHeay. Don't you think? Just need to add in two Ys and remove the RT then become YinkHeay already. Hehehe.. It's a good science fiction movie I think coz the story is very creative. =)

Then we saw this very very funny notebook in MPH.

Looks like our school time notebook right? It's purposely designed for the year of Cow. =) So cute! Chee Hui bought it and took its picture and send the picture to me so that I can blog it. Hehe. How nice! =)

Gotta go sleep already. I feel like I'm degenerating really fast lately. My body dun allow me to sleep late recently. My eyes and my upper back will feel tired easily. And if I sleep even later, all my bones will feel poking pain. And then the next day my joints will start to sore.

楊丞琳 太煩惱

This is one of the track in the drama series I watching. I love this song before I even watch the drama. Heard it on radio and loved it to bits!

Dream hard

Had been reading The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho recently since before CNY. I read it on and off whenever I have free time and whenever it is within my reach. Just now I read till the part where the shepherd finally fulfilled his dream after such a long and tiring journey. When I read until the part where he knelt down and weep in front of the pyramid, I have a sudden urge of weeping too. The joy of reaching the goal after all the hardship. It was the passion which pushed him towards his dreams. I almost weep for him.

I love adventure when I was very little. When I was 7 I love to go to the halfway constructed empty house with my neighbour and observed the worms crawling here and there on the ground, and touched the dirt in the moulded unwanted place. I climbed tables and jumped down to the floor in my house imitating superman and got scolded by my parents. Some time in the middle of my childhood, something changed me into a coward who stay only in the comfort zone. I didn't even dare to think twice on my dad's suggestion to go for a singing lesson given by his friend even though I know I love singing, just because I think staying in the comfort zone was better and because I didn't want to meet new people. I was seriously introvert to the extent that I didn't even walk around in the class and make noise when the teacher was not around (Now I think I've wasted my teenager life!)

When I was at my rebellious age, I was only wild in my dreams. I visioned myself to reach the top of Mount KK, I visioned myself to cross the river in Endau-Rompin National Park, I visioned to volunteer myself as a teacher in Cambodia. But having dreams is better than not having them. Maybe I was too keen about them last time, I think something is pushing me towards the dreams. But of course, this also have to do with my recent behaviour about stepping (slightly) out of my comfort zone. This action not only changed my perspective towards life but is also helping me achieve my ancient dreams almost 10 years ago.

One of my dreams - to climb the Mount KK - is going to be achieved soon! I'm anticipating to watch the world from KK!

And maybe a sea of clouds.

Kinabalu I'm coming!

I believe dreams, whatever they are, and how ancient they were, will come true sooner or later. It just depends on how much passions we put into the dreams we're having, don't you think?

Back to reality....

Finally I'm back! Here in my nest only can I upload the pictures I had taken during CNY coz I left my HP cable here. =P

Taken some photos during CNY.

With KT friends

--------------------

Met up Yee Kheng and got to know a new friend, Bryan. We had dinner at Canton-i in Pyramid.

I love this thing below:

The juice inside leaked out when I took a bite! Not too sweet and not too salty. I think it's tasty.

---------------------

The photos below are for syok-sendiri purpose. 100% camwhore purpose. Hehehe... You can choose to ignore this part. Haha.

But if you insist to view this part, please note the colour of my hair. Keke.. Can see got difference? =D

Hehe. Actually I dye my hair myself before CNY just to live up my hair. Although not very evenly distributed (This is my first time dye myself) but I love my hair texture more after dyeing it! =P

-------------

Tomorrow have to go back to work after such a long holiday. I still dun have the mood to work yet. Sigh. Dun care first. Go sleep first. Nighties!
