Had been coughing since last Thursday. Had too many toast for the diarrhea I had last week I guess.

Went to see doctor this Thursday before work. Doctor was "surprised" why I didn't see doctor as I've been coughing a week ago. Had no fever, no water in lungs but doctor gave me antibiotics also, dunno why. The cough syrup she gave was the black colour one. I had it for a day but didn't feel the difference at all. I still cough after taking that syrup.

So, Friday after work, I went to see the doctor again. The first thing she said was "let me write a letter to hospital and let you see doctor there". I think she wasn't saying that for real, she just want to threaten me but she really did scared me a little. Coz I duwan to go hospital lo, first I have to pay for the checkup, second I might develop H1N1 from there. I asked for a stronger cough syrup this time. Luckily she prescribed me a better one. Now I feel better after taking the syrup. And she gave me two types of medicine for throat itchiness. One for morning and one for night time which will cause drowsiness.

Before I left the room, the doctor smiled mischeviously and said to me "see you then". I was thinking I don't want to see you again lo.. lol.. And she continued "If you come again to see me I'll really write a letter to the hospital, having coughs for more than a week is very unusual, you better have a proper check up in hospital if you still cannot recover."

I recalled what my boss said to me today. "So you have a long holiday to rest for recovering from the sickness".

So... Happy holiday. Yea right.. Sigh..

David Tao finally releases new song lately! After for so long. =)

Nice song. Sounds like English pop love song lo.

This is the description of this song:

It means:
This song is not only the theme song of a movie self-written, directed and acted by David Tao but also the greatest hit in his latest album... (2 sentences dunno how to translate, skip these sentences.. hehe)... Under the recommendation from a well known producer 王治平, David got to invite Paul Bushnell to play the base for this song. David says everyone has experienced liking someone secretly (dunno how to say 'an lian' in English.. lol), he get the inspiration for this song from his own experience. He hopes to describe the feeling of liking someone secretly despite the necessary of being with him/her. He wants to tell everyone that even though this love does not give an ending, but it gives relatively strong feelings and energy.
(hehe.. very bad in translation. My English had been getting worse due to lack of blogging and reading novels. lol)

Ooo... No wonder it sounds like English love song la. The music was played by Paul Bushnell, a well known composer.

Nuang. Checked.

I conquered Nuang yesterday!

Enjoyed the trek very much because the last part of the trekking trail after Puncak Pengasih is very challenging, some parts have to use hands to climb up the roots. I like! But I dun like the very demoralising trail before Kem Lolo. It looks like a highway to me. You know driving on a highway can be very demoralising and boring right? Imagine walking on that highway for more than 1 hour.. Deflated...

Reached the peak in 5 hours and 25 mins. Used another 5 hours to go down.

The entrance

Starting part of the highway. The plantations already look very different. Those are pine trees I think.

We did not many river crossing there. 2 or 3 I dun remember already. The rivers in Nuang is just so-so. Nothing special to talk about. But according to CK the water is safe to be consumed.

Taking a rest near Kem Pacat

I always caught eating when trekking. lol

It's just normal trekking after Kem Pacat to Puncak Pengasih with a bit of mud

Me have nice pose here =P

Taken from a tree with a hole at the tree trunk. =P

Yesterday the weather at Nuang was very good. Puncak Pengasih is very cooling. Feel like Genting. From time to time we saw a group of mist flying towards us with a gust of wind.

This reminds me of Gunung Irau. Actually from Puncak Pengasih onwards until the peak, it looks exactly like Irau already. Except that Irau is more mossy. The trees and rocks in Irau has more green moss than Nuang.

Yea Irau is more mossy indeed (click for larger view)

I dunno what this signboard is talking about coz it's too old and half of the planks were torn off. I guess it says this is the trail to the summit? So in order to ensure our friends know which way to go, CK put a note at Pengasih.

It actually took us more than 30 mins to the peak coz we rested a lot! =P

When I reached there CK they all had already reached the peak. I reached slightly later.

We were greeted by a very fat squirrel. It's the fattest squirrel I've ever seen. Maybe it's due to the weather or the leftover food by trekkers, or maybe both? =P

Took a group photo at the peak

Actually you can see Genting from Nuang peak. But yesterday was too misty. Genting was covered in mist. Yea. The misty part is Genting. lol...

After scenery viewing I continued my sleep coz woke up too early yesterday. I woke up at 5am =(

CK also sleeping. heheh..

The rest chit-chatting

After a while, we were surprised by an uncle who looks like he's in his 50s landing his feet at the peak with a wave of hand and friendly greetings. Hikers are friendly I must admit. Erhem. I'm a hiker too. Kaka.. We tend to greet each other, ask one another about the trek and give each other encouragements.

The ladies one in her 30s and one in 40s are also very sporting.

They reach the peak in 3 hours plus!! o.O It was fast! They look very professional and experienced though. Actually I hope to be like them in 20 years time. lol..

Going down the mountain is tiring also. Luckily we had a fun dip in the ice cold tiny and shallow pool near Kem Lolo (I think it's Kem Lolo if not mistaken, I think it's not Kem Pacat). At least the water soothed our sore feet and gave a boost to our mental.

The guys splashing each other

The girls getting ready to get into the pool

After lots of splashings and waterfall back-massaging and some photo sessions (photos playing water is yet to be collected) we continued our trek. Here it is folks! The photos of water-splashings.. lol..

Group photos in the pool

The girls (one guy buat kacau at the back) but the guys were splashing water. Couldn't open my eyes when taking this photo

Girls photo with no water splashing

We, the girls, revenged kau kau to the guys. kekeke..

Okla.. Let you take one nice photo la.

After that started to splash like there's no tomorrow. lol..

After the waterfall, when we started to trek back, that's the part where my feet start to feel even more painful. The Kampung Adidas cut my ankle! Damn painful one. And putting two layers of plasters still cannot prevent the shoe from scraping my ankle. I had to limp until the exit throughout the 2 hours trek. =( That was where I feel the 'highway' was really long and deadly. Summore the scenery beside the highway looked all the same to me. Boring... Me and Angie were the last coz both of us wore Kampung Adidas. lol.. She even wore it without socks! Salute her lah... (Note for myself to next Nuang trek if there's any: wear two layers of socks)

When we saw the exit I almost cried out of joy. When we walked out I found that the very pro uncles and the ladies were already washing their shoes and chilling at their van. Goodness gracious! They are really fast! @.@ We went for a shower at the public toilet and off to our dinner at a Malay Kampung near Gabai.

The restaurant was well-known for its ikan bakar. When we reached there the restaurant was already full house coz it was 7.30pm, baru buka puasa. Sorry folks... if we walked faster and shower faster maybe we can reach the restaurant before buka puasa. We waited until around 9pm only started to have our dinner. So cham.

Despite the slow service, insufficient cups and jugs, the restaurant is actually quite special la. The seatings are in a small hut on a lake. There are bridges connecting to the hut for people to walk from the land to the hut. The idea was cool but their desk was very old and dirty, some huts have no light... the customers have to use torchlights to have their meals =.='' And they place the tap water above the lake beside the bridge. So when you wash your hands the dirty water run down the lake. And when cleaning up the tables, the crews just throw all the remaining drinks into the lake. Some kids who were eating there throw fish bones into the lake wishing to feed the fish.. Eeww. I can imagine how dirty the lake is. Anyway, the idea of lake hut is still very romantic if it's designed and maintained properly.

No pictures taken at the restaurants coz everyone was tired already. =P

Reached home at 11pm and K.O. right after shower. Woke up with a very sore leg this morning. I believe this pain will follow me for another 2 days especially walking down the stairs. But hey! I've been to Nuang already! =) I have no regrets pal, no regrets.

Sungha Jung

Can't even take porridge. I threw out every bits of the porridge after consuming.

My meal today was porridge water, porridge water and more porridge water.

Hope I can get well by tonight so that I can go to work tomorrow. Sigh...

Talented kid this is:-

Diarrhea pula

Last night woke up at 4am with stomach pain. Had diarrhea every 30 minutes after that until 10am. Didn't have enough sleep. Only managed to close my eyes and rest a while and then got another call from my stomach to do the business every 30 minutes.

I only had medicine for vomit, stomach gas and stomach pain from the doctor yesterday. I totally had no idea how to stop the diarrhea. But diarrhea and vomit I rather have diarrhea coz vomit will feel the bitter taste in the mouth and the stomach and chest will feel cramped. Tried to take medicine from the doctor after drinking milo. But after taking the medicine I vomited out the milo and perhaps some of the medicine. Didn't know Milo cannot be consumed during food poisoning.

I dunno what food was the culprit but mum said can food have to be cooked properly before consuming because although the food in the can was pre-cooked but the content in the can is a very good food source for bacteria to regrow on them during storage. But dunno why everyone was eating the same thing as me but only me get the food poisoning. Choo Peng said it might be due to different susceptibility towards the bacteria. Maybe gua. Dunno la.. I just know that I'm damn tired now and my stomach feels bloated, cold and full of gas now. Luckily the frequency of diarrhea gets lesser now. Maybe it has already removed all the toxins gua.

And I'm lucky today is a public holiday. I'm going back to sleep now. Ciao.

That's what friends are for =)

Sick again. Sigh.

After coming back from recce I've been vomiting until just now. (6pm ++ to 10pm ++) for 4 times. I tried to sleep but I could feel the liquid in my stomach flowing right up to my throat when I lie down. Exactly like 3 years ago, I vomited the gall juice coz it's bitter. But as compared with 3 years ago, this is slightly milder. Coz at least I can hold it longer.

Planned to sleep through the uneasiness and see doctor the next morning (coz I scare Sunday night very hard to find parking since tomorrow is a public holiday). But as I said, I couldn't even lie down. I tried to sleep sitting. To no avail too coz the wall was cold and the coldness made me feel like puking again.

That's when I decided I should go see a doctor. But if I drive there alone I might need to turn few rounds to get a parking. Maybe I would even have to hold the stearing with one hand, and another hand holding a zipper bag for me to puke into while stearing the gear. It will be so kelam-kabut. Plus my limbs are wobbly from frequent vomiting.

A list of people whom I can count on appeared in my mind. Bro is in Indonesia now, housemates not at home, my aunt family sleep early I duwan to kacau them. I sat there alone in my room crying to myself feeling hopeless. Luckily when I called Get Pei, without second thoughts she told me she'd come right away. Awww. That touched me a lot a lot. That's what real friends are for. =) And thanks Vincent for driving. They just went to visit Get Pei's brother. They came to fetch me right from his brother's place in Puchong. Touched!

Real friends shares the goods and the bads, fake ones shares only the good.

From this lesson I know whom I can count on in the future already. Thanks girl! Love you much much!

Now I've already taken the medicine to control the vomit. I'm waiting for it to be effective before I lie down again. I'm phobia to the feeling of the liquid gushing to my throat when I lie down.
