I almost die coughing!

Had been coughing since 10th September. Went to see doctor about a week later for twice. The medicine didn't help. Despite that it did help make me feel dizzy.

Just now in Korean class, the room was very dry due to the air cond. My throat started to feel irritated again. I tried to drink water to moisten it but choked. Rushed to toilet to cough. Coughed until my tears and nasal mucus came out, until my nose and my eyes went red, until my mask was soaked with my saliva that I had to discard it. After 5 minutes went back to classroom, teacher asked me why I cried. =.=" Sigh.. so cham la.. She was shocked that I was so seriously ill and started to mumble "otteuke otteuke" to herself. I think it means "how ar like this?" She's a very nice and kind person. =)

Kim son seng nim (my Korean teacher) just came back from Busan. She gave us some souvenior from Korea:

A handphone hanger

She then gave Alec a box of soju (5 bottles inside) coz he loves soju very much. lol.. He must include "soju" in every Korean sentences he made. Damn funny one. So teacher Kim know he loves soju very much and bought him a gift box.

He gave me, Bryan and Chiao Wen each. Actually I didn't want it coz I dun really like alcohol. I heard soju taste like turpentine, so I think I won't like it. But the bottle is damn cute lo... Can't resist it and finally received it from Alec. Hehe...

If you see this, thanks so much, Alec!

The bottle is made of plastic. Nice le? It's slightly smaller than my palm. Only 200ml. And teacher said this version is a diluted one, only contains 19.5% alcohol. She said they sell diluted version to target the female market.

Chiao Wen suggested me to drink this soju to kill the virus down in my throat. lol. So funny! It's not gonna be funny if I lose my voice because of this act though.

The great Yiruma

Been admiring his talents of composing nice music all these while since 2 years ago. Heng introduced me to one of his famous pieces, "Kiss the rain", and I instantly fell in love with the tunes!

He's Yiruma, a Korean musician, who plays piano with full of feelings. A great pianist he is!

A short description about Yiruma from Wiki:

"Yiruma is well-known throughout the world, and his albums are sold all over Asia, as well as the United States and Europe. His most famous pieces are "River Flows in You", "Kiss the Rain" and "Love Me". These pieces are widely mistaken as being associated with the movie Twilight. Although he formerly held dual citizenship as a citizen of the United Kingdom and South Korea, in July 2006 he gave up his British citizenship and entered the Republic of Korea Navy to begin his military service, which is compulsory for all male South Koreans. He lived in Osaka, Japan, for 5 years to promote album sales before giving up his dual citizenship."

Try listen to "Kiss the rain". You will like it too!

Can you feel the emotions inside?! Nice right?

His other famous pieces are nice too!

River flows in you

A lively one!

Love me

This is a quiet one.

Broga with Charlieans buddies

Went to Broga for a farewell to Yumin coz she was leaving to UK on Wednesday.

Finally we had our Broga trek. Sorry for keep canceling it. =P We had the plan like few weeks ago. But too hard to find a mutual time where all of us are free. So until the last minute, the day before Yumin's departure, we decided to just go for it no matter how many people can make it. =)

We met at the Mines at 6.15am. Reached Broga at 6.30am. Started to trek at about 6.40am. By that time the sky was already brighter.

Broga is very famous for its scenery. When we reached the first peak, the peak was so packed with people you would think there's no more space for you to stand.

That's the first peak taken from second peak. Can you see the first peak was so freaking full of people?!

Some brought their kids (around 3-4 years old) who climbed with both hands and legs.

Some even brought their dogs to trek along.

So what is Broga so famous about?

Let the photos tell you the answer.

Dawn breaking

Lonely tree on the green slope. Look like one of those scenes in disney animations. And the sentence should start with "Once a upon a time..." and the scene moves towards the tree and beyond it. lol.... Think too much already.

The peak of neighbour hill peeking from the layers of mist

The sun appeared

The dominant plantation of the hill - lalang

A piece of cloud flew off the layer

We were in heaven looking down the Earth

Layers of mountains

Now you know why Broga is so crowded every weekend. Lots of photographers go there to take photos of the scenery.

Here's some photos of us:

I was astonished by the the sunrise

Me and Yumin

Me, Yumin and Elaine

Me, Yumin, Elaine and Adam

Me, Yumin, Adam, Elaine's bro and Elaine's bf (at the back).

Everyone. Taken by Kian Yong whom I bumped into at Broga second peak. lol.. So ngam one.

I took a picture with Kian Yong too. So ngam of course have to take a picture la.. lol. The background look so nice. As if I'm at KK. =P

And my favourite thing to do when I reached the peak the end point - relax and enjoy the serenity. =)

Had great time with the Charlieans. With lesser and lesser Charlieans left in Malaysia I think the fun will be lesser already. Miss the time when we were loud and crazy. I sound like an old lady. hehe..

Raya shopping spree!

Today's Raya!

I woke up extremely early this morning. Already used to waking up at 7.30am. The stomach started to kacau even when I wanted to sleep back.

So started my day with some horlicks, my medicine and The Sims 3.

Played until my head started to spin and the medicine started to take effects that I had to lie down and let the world spun around me. Waited for Audrey to come home to go jalan-jalan at Ikano.

It was out of our expectations coz the parking lot was full early in the morning, around 10+am! There were quite some crowd there already. But after lunch time it get even more crowdy with lots of Malay guys wearing their traditional Malay costume. That's a very rare scene lo, seeing all Malay guys with their traditional Malay costume walking in shopping malls.

So long never shop already suddenly my purse was very itchy. lol..

Took some photos in Padini Concept Store.

I bought this pink pants at RM44.50.

The specs look nice on me right? Right?! ^^ Looks like Korean. =P The frame was made of wood. Special right? Wanted to buy the specs but I was too rational to buy it. Coz it was freaking expensive! RM59 le.. As an accessory it's considered expensive lo..

After that went to watch The Perfect Getaway with bro and his bestie, Gary, at Pyramid. Before meeting bro, I shopped around for a while and bought this cute piece of dress. =)

Cute right? ^^ Have to find some chance to wear this out already. hehehe...

(Note: Sometimes I just think my short hair doesn't suit dresses.. look so boyish.. hmm..)

Today dunno why I felt like giving happiness to everyone. So, I wished every Malay cashier "Selamat Hari Raya" when I paid the bills. Their responses were surprised at first and then happily thanked me. =)

And today dunno why I felt very cheerful. When I wanted people to give way, I cheerfully said "Excuse me! Thanks!" with a very cheerful tone. I guess despite my masked face they still can see my cheerful expression from my eyes coz I saw their faces lit up when they smiled at me when they gave way.

And I guess maybe I was in such a cheerful mood, the cashier at the Jusco greeted me "gong xi fatt chai" when I paid them the bills. lol.. I'm giving away so much happiness I felt like a Santa Claus today. =P

Happi happi!

Had been coughing since last Thursday. Had too many toast for the diarrhea I had last week I guess.

Went to see doctor this Thursday before work. Doctor was "surprised" why I didn't see doctor as I've been coughing a week ago. Had no fever, no water in lungs but doctor gave me antibiotics also, dunno why. The cough syrup she gave was the black colour one. I had it for a day but didn't feel the difference at all. I still cough after taking that syrup.

So, Friday after work, I went to see the doctor again. The first thing she said was "let me write a letter to hospital and let you see doctor there". I think she wasn't saying that for real, she just want to threaten me but she really did scared me a little. Coz I duwan to go hospital lo, first I have to pay for the checkup, second I might develop H1N1 from there. I asked for a stronger cough syrup this time. Luckily she prescribed me a better one. Now I feel better after taking the syrup. And she gave me two types of medicine for throat itchiness. One for morning and one for night time which will cause drowsiness.

Before I left the room, the doctor smiled mischeviously and said to me "see you then". I was thinking I don't want to see you again lo.. lol.. And she continued "If you come again to see me I'll really write a letter to the hospital, having coughs for more than a week is very unusual, you better have a proper check up in hospital if you still cannot recover."

I recalled what my boss said to me today. "So you have a long holiday to rest for recovering from the sickness".

So... Happy holiday. Yea right.. Sigh..

David Tao finally releases new song lately! After for so long. =)

Nice song. Sounds like English pop love song lo.

This is the description of this song:

It means:
This song is not only the theme song of a movie self-written, directed and acted by David Tao but also the greatest hit in his latest album... (2 sentences dunno how to translate, skip these sentences.. hehe)... Under the recommendation from a well known producer 王治平, David got to invite Paul Bushnell to play the base for this song. David says everyone has experienced liking someone secretly (dunno how to say 'an lian' in English.. lol), he get the inspiration for this song from his own experience. He hopes to describe the feeling of liking someone secretly despite the necessary of being with him/her. He wants to tell everyone that even though this love does not give an ending, but it gives relatively strong feelings and energy.
(hehe.. very bad in translation. My English had been getting worse due to lack of blogging and reading novels. lol)

Ooo... No wonder it sounds like English love song la. The music was played by Paul Bushnell, a well known composer.
