New room

Having less than one week to study for the exam, I still had to move my room to another block. It took me from 12.00pm to 6.30 pm to finish the moving part and 10pm to 12 am to unpack the stuff. So, in total, 8 hours are gone.

The first time we stepped into the room. The smell was terrible. Like having sweaty clothes hung in the room for ages. Guys… We opened the window to dilute the smell. Now the smell is still there but milder.

We are moving out 1 month later because graduating by then. So weird. We will have to move room again next month. Sigh. What to do. The hostel management people want to make the whole block girl’s block and another block guy’s.

But overall the room is ok. I like the bathroom because the door is fully covered. So, we are safe.

From the moving room experience, I learn that:

1) Dont trust the management ppl, they lied
2) when they said they will look into ur problems, they dont
3) Moving from one unit to the other block is not fun at all
4) there are something that i cannot do by myself
5) continuously shifting for 7 hours is worst than shopping for 12 hours
6) the guy's unit has a higher shower head, which i can hardly reached
7) Guys born in 80s are not gentleman, not all, but most
8) Those ppl offer help are all uncles

Hmm…5 days more for me to study… Aja Aja Kambate!!

stressed

Very stressed after getting back the feedback on my discussion from one of my supervisor. A lot of questions need to be answered. But, those are parts where I really can't find an appropriate answer. Sigh... Can't I just leave the answer to experimental errors? Sigh...

Menstrual cramp

I was half dead this afternoon.

Every month I will tell myself I'm not going to be a female in my next life. Many people don't understand what some of the girls have to face every month. Yes, I mean menstrual pain.

The pain is like a leg muscle cramp. But the big difference is that it's abdomen which cramps, and the pain is continuous for hours (whole afternoon for me). And leg muscle cramp can be soothen by pushing the feet inwards, but abdominal cramp cannot. All I can do was just lying sideway like a prawn and that definitely cannot sooth any pain. Massage doesn't help. Sometimes pain until sweat.

I just feel like my lower limbs were tearing away. It is always impossible to walk properly or even walk when the abdomen twitches. Sometimes I will feel dizzy if I force myself to keep walking. The most serious experience was that I'd fainted before in the public because of the pain.

My mum told me she had also gone through this and she always feel that she had survive from death every month. I agree. But I really don't like being tortured by the nature. Sigh...What to do...

Because I'm a girl... =(

Job hunting

I've cancelled the plan of going to expedition. My family needs me. I should start earning money to help ease my parents' burden. Looking for job now, science-related ones. Hopefully can get one in Singapore so I can earn double. Hopefully can get a job starting August.
