Here are some of the pictures taken in Hutan Lipur Kanching

Welcome to Hutan Lipur Kanching

Nice art =)

Act cool. heheh...

Not much water from the top

Fishing at waterfall? Hmm... Can get fish one ah?

Water finding way to get down

A bit blur but that makes this picture perfect. The hut looks like a painting. =)

Stairway to heaven

In between civilization and wilderness. I would say this is a park, not a forest because there's staircase and tracks everywhere for people to walk.

I like to see trees especially from this angle

Nice roots. Nice state of art.

Posing for photoshoot. This is the last waterfall (we think so) at Kanching cuz the track ended there. Maybe there's more up there.

Stubbornness of water. =)

Stop staring. I won't give you my drinks.
And we saw some nice scenery outside the Hutan Lipur too.

I like roads with two rows of trees especially when these trees have crooked branches.
(I think at night sure look really haunted)
Yesterday we didn't bring extra clothes. So we didn't play much with the water.
Can't wait to go soak myself in the cooling water on Saturday. But too bad the confirmed attendance is a bit sorry. Only 6 going. And Charlieans only got Me, Keen and Kexin. Elaine not confirmed yet cuz Kanching is too far from Klang. The sole purpose of having a Charliean gathering is not reached. Sigh...
Here's some info for people who are interested to go Kanching for a walk or soak =P
--Carpark fees: RM2 per day
--Entrance fees: RM1 per person
--There's 99.9% of staircase (good for those people who don't climb much)
--There's some stalls and one small restaurant at the entrance selling drinks, foods, bags and ice-creams. But no T-shirt and pants. So bring extra clothes yourself.
--There are pondoks (huts) for people to barbecue and picnic.
--There's cemented space (can camp there or find another spot yourself)
--There's one children playground outside the park.
--There's around 5 waterfalls. Climb higher and you can get more waterfalls. It felt like a kind of accomplishment =P
--There's one artificial pool at every waterfall.
--There's two toilets: one at the very bottom and one in between the 4th and 5th waterfall counted from below. The entrance fees for toilet is 50 cents per person.
--There's no drink and food stalls in the park, so do bring water and food if you don't want to starve yourself. We had no food with us when we climbed up and it was almost lunch time. The hunger was killing me when I was climbing up.
--Lots of people (mainly family and bunch of youngsters) during public holiday. Saw some angmohs yesterday too. And the number of females there was quite promising. I expected less.
Although this hutan is very commercialized, the waterfalls and the trees are magnificent. I think it's worth going for a good walk during the weekends. =) If you're bored with those recreational parks built for jogging and morning walks, this is an alternative place with fresher air, cleaner water, pebbles at the waterfall for foot massage, and some 'heights' to conquer. =P
A light climbing this was. More like a morning walk.
